These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.fairfare.in (the "Site") and the FairFare mobile application (the "App"), collectively referred to as the "Service," provided by TTN Consulting Labs Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in India ("FairFare", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the Site or App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.fairfare.in/privacy. We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site or App. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of such changes.

2. Description of Service

FairFare is a mobile and web application that helps users split expenses, manage group finances, track debts, and settle payments. The Service includes features such as expense tracking, group management, event planning, multi-currency support, and integration with payment gateways.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

5. Subscriptions and Payments

FairFare offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Automatic renewal of subscriptions unless cancelled
  • Comply with the payment terms of your platform (Apple App Store or Google Play)
  • Understand that subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Subscription fees are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Refunds are subject to the policies of these platforms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by TTN Consulting Labs Private Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide and improve the Service.

8. Payment Gateway Integration

FairFare integrates with various UPI payment gateways (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) to facilitate expense settlements. When you initiate a payment:

  • You are redirected to the respective payment app
  • We do not process or store your payment credentials
  • All payment transactions are subject to the terms of the payment gateway
  • We are not responsible for payment processing or disputes

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTN Consulting Labs Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
